Camping
Please note our minimum rental periods are for two nights on weekdays (Monday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Friday) and three nights at weekends (Friday-Monday), meaning if you can't stay until Monday morning you can stay as long as you like on Sunday without having to get up early and check out.

Camping Payment
For reservations which are within 60 days, we require payment in full. For reservations outside this period, we request a deposit of 25% of the total cost of your reservation to secure your booking, with the balance to be paid within 60 days of your reservation date. We'll send you an email to remind you as the payment date approaches.

Courses
Courses can be booked on any weekday/s of your choice as long as the date is available. Courses are limited to four people, but please note the two-hour 'have ago' courses require a minimum booking of two people. If you are coming alone, you can make an individual booking on courses already in the calendar that have free spaces.

Reservations for courses must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • Camping - Treehouse

    Work on our luxury 'Woodman's Treehouse' is moving apace, and we are now taking bookings from 1st July.

    Set high up in the branches of a veteran oak, the Woodman's Treehouse takes glamping to a new level - literally! Accessed via a spiral staircase and rope bridge, the treehouse has its own kitchen, a bedroom with huge roof skylight, indoor toilet, and a double-ended bath. Two outside decks include a pizza oven and BBQ, and an outside 'tree bath' and private sauna.

    The treehouse is available to rent, either individually, or as part of the whole site booking, from 1st July. It is now open for bookings from that date.
  • Camping - Twybil

    A bell tent with private BBQ, hammock and shared grass topped flushing loos and woven willow hot shower.

  • Camping - Whole site booking

    Exclusive hire of the whole campsite, including all eight units - bell tents, yurts, tipi, shepherd's hut and treehouse - along with the field kitchen/pizza oven, sauna and games yurt.

    Booking of the whole site is only available if no unit has been booked separately.

  • Courses - Two Hour 'Have-a-Go' - AM - Spatula Making

    Running from 10am for two hours, our short 'Have a Go' courses are designed to give everyone a go at green woodworking. The courses are suitable for absolute novices, and are designed to be fun, satisfying and informative.

    This course is Spatula Making: make a kitchen spatula from freshly cut unseasoned wood using only hand tools and skills.

    Please note: a minimum of two people is required to run a course; individuals can join existing courses (see above).

    Running from 10am for two hours, our short 'Have a Go' courses are designed to give everyone a go at green woodworking. The courses are suitable for absolute novices, and are designed to be fun, satisfying and informative.

    This course is Whittling: get a safe start with whittling and you'll have the foundations for a lifetime of pleasure.
