Camping
Please note our minimum rental periods are for two nights on weekdays (Monday-Wednesday and Wednesday-Friday) and three nights at weekends (Friday-Monday), meaning if you can't stay until Monday morning you can stay as long as you like on Sunday without having to get up early and check out.

Camping Payment
For reservations which are within 60 days, we require payment in full. For reservations outside this period, we request a deposit of 25% of the total cost of your reservation to secure your booking, with the balance to be paid within 60 days of your reservation date. We'll send you an email to remind you as the payment date approaches.

Courses
Courses can be booked on any weekday/s of your choice as long as the date is available. Courses are limited to four people, but please note the two-hour 'have ago' courses require a minimum booking of two people. If you are coming alone, you can make an individual booking on courses already in the calendar that have free spaces.

Courses Payment
Reservations for courses must be paid in full at the time of booking.

  • The Woodman's Treehouse

    Set high up in the branches of a veteran oak, the Woodman's Treehouse takes glamping to a new level - literally! Accessed via a rope bridge, the treehouse has its own kitchen, a bedroom with huge roof skylight, indoor toilet, and a double-ended copper bath. Two outside decks include a pizza oven, BBQ, 'tree shower' and a rooftop hot tub and private sauna.

    A bell tent with private BBQ, hammock and shared grass topped flushing loos and woven willow hot shower.

  • Glamping - Fipple

    A bell tent with private BBQ, hammock and shared grass topped flushing loos and woven willow hot shower.
  • Glamping - Hoppus

    A 24 foot tipi with private flushing loo and hot shower.
  • Glamping - Poppet

    A hand crafted yurt with private flushing loo and piping hot tree shower.
  • Glamping - Twybil

    A bell tent with private BBQ, hammock and shared grass topped flushing loos and woven willow hot shower.
  • Glamping - Whole site booking

    Exclusive hire of the whole campsite, including all eight units - bell tents, yurts, tipi, shepherd's hut and treehouse - along with the field kitchen/pizza oven, sauna and games yurt.

    Booking of the whole site is only available if no unit has been booked separately.
  • Introduction to Green Woodworking - 1 day

    From tree-to-product, our one day courses teach you the basics of green woodworking using high quality handmade crook knifes and a small hatchet/axe.

    This course is an Introduction to Green Woodworking: make a variety of small items for the kitchen and garden.

    Days run from 10.00am - 4.00pm.
  • Make a Chair from a Tree - 5 days

    A five day 'masterclass' in traditional green wood hand craft techniques ending with your very own post and rung chair that will last for generations.

    Days run from 9.00am - 5.00pm.
  • Spatula Making - 2 hour 'Have-a-Go' (am)

    Running from 10am for two hours, have a go at making a kitchen spatula from freshly cut unseasoned wood using only hand tools and skills.

    Suitable for absolute novices, and designed to be fun, satisfying and informative.

    Please note: a minimum of two people is required to run a course; individuals can join existing courses.
  • Spatula Making - 2 hour 'Have-a-Go' (pm)

    Running from 2pm for two hours, have a go at making a kitchen spatula from freshly cut unseasoned wood using only hand tools and skills.

    Suitable for absolute novices, and designed to be fun, satisfying and informative.

    Please note: a minimum of two people is required to run a course; individuals can join existing courses.

  • Spoon Carving - 1 day

    From tree-to-product - learn the basics of green woodworking and carve a spoon using high quality handmade crook knifes and a small hatchet/axe.

    Days run from 10.00am - 4.00pm
  • Spoon Carving - 2 days

    From tree-to-product, this two day spoon carving course teaches you the basics of green woodworking and give you time to practice and refine more complex techniques.

    Days run from 10.00am - 4.00pm
