Our open concept is a cozy & fun living room area with a couch and furniture to lounge on. This comfy, open area has a large play yard attached and is perfect for little pups who enjoy the company of other dogs.

All dogs being booked into the open concept area must be pre-approved by a Very Important Pets staff member. Please contact us if you are booking your pet in for the first time. Pets must be friendly and social with all other pets & people at all times. All dogs in open concept must be spayed/neutered. Pets will be put in small, carefully selected, supervised groups based on size, age, temperament & activity level. We reserve the right to place a dog in a private kennel if we deem this to be necessary.

We charge for the day of drop off and you are welcome to drop off at any time during business hours.
Pick up day - no charge for pick up before 12pm
- 1/2 day charge from 12-2pm
- full day charge from 6:30pm-7:30pm

Please note our business hours: 9am to 2pm and 6:30pm to 7:30pm. For an additional $10 fee you may request an appointment if you need to arrive outside of these hours. If you arrive outside of business hours without an appointment there is an additional $40 fee.

Holiday bookings will incur a minimum 4 day charge and require a deposit. A deposit is also required for first reservations.
