  • R1 - First time snowboarder.
  • R2 - Can sideslip and zig zag on heel side, want to work on the toe side.
  • R3 - Can sideslip and zig zag on both sides (heel side and toe side), want to start turning.
  • R4 - Can turn in one direction, want to make turns both ways.
  • R5 - Can link turns, want to make smoother turns.
  • R6 - Can link turns consistently with precision, want to work on shape, size and timing of turns.
  • R7 - Can ride a variety of terrain confidently, want to work on carving, and or small jumps.
  • R8 - Want to master high-speed carving turns.
  • R9 - Want to master riding a variety of technical terrain and become a strong all around rider.
